Facts About Eyelash Shedding
The average person has 90-120 Natural lashes per eye.
Each eye sheds anywhere from 1-5 natural lashes in a day.
So on Average if 2 natural lashes are lost per day;
in 1 week we’d lose 14 per week
in 2 weeks, 28 lost, and
in 3 weeks, 42 lost.
If you have faster hair growth you may lose up to 21-35 per week. Lashes can also shed more during certain seasons. So, it is commonly required to get a refill every 2 to 3 weeks to maintain them.
Pre-Lash Appointments
Please arrive with lashes completely free from any traces of residue or cosmetics of any kind.
** Remember the more I have to clean the less lash time. The less I have to clean the MORE LASH TIME and BETTER RETENTION. Please no caffeine before your appointment. We want to make sure your eyes are not fluttering, this allows for a precise application of the lash extension.
Eyelash Extension Care Instructions
-Avoid getting wet your lashes for 48 hours after application.
-Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and steam facials for the following two days after your appointment. This can weaken the adhesive.
-Use only oil-free makeup remover and a light mild baby shampoo to clean the lashes. Clean daily.
-Avoid using mascara and any waterproof products. This can weaken the bond of the adhesive, add weight to the lash, and make the lash extension less fluffy.
-DO NOT pick or pull your eyelash extensions! This can DAMAGE your natural lash! BABY YOUR LASHES.
-Do not curl your lashes
-Use a clean mascara wand to comb through your lashes when you wake up and after showering.
